Prova på Rollspel!

Vill du pröva på att spela rollspel, eller letar du kanske efter andra intresserade för att starta en spelgrupp med?

Det är dags för månadens Rollspelsträff och denna gång får vi besök av Johan Eriksson, skaparen av systemet Oceania 2084 - The Orwellian TTRPG!

Systemet är inspirerat av George Orwells bok “1984” och kan beskrivas som ett spelledarlöst, asymmetriskt, adversiellt storytelling spel. Detta betyder att istället för en spelledare så kommer en av er spela rollen av “Big Brother” medan resten av spelarna spelar sina karaktärer.
Med inspiration tagen från rogue-likes, Red carnations on a black grave, Lasers & Feelings, Vampire the Masquerade, PbtA, Thousand Year Old Vampire och Paranoia så ser både jag och Sebastian fram emot att få spela med er och vi hoppas ni gör det med!

Johan kommer att börja kl 18:00 med en introduktion för att sedan gå vidare till karaktärsskapande och kampanj setup. De kommer att hållas på antingen svenska eller engelska, beroende på vad gruppen föredrar. Introduktionen förväntas att ta ca 2 timmar, varefter grupperna kan spela fram till stängning kl 22:00.
Det finns ingen gräns på mängden spelare denna gång, så ta med alla era kompisar!

Det kommer att finnas två chanser att pröva på Oceania 2084. Den första inträffar den 8:e Maj och den andra den 15:e, så välj det datum som passar er bäst (eller båda två)!

Do you want to try out Tabletop role playing games, or are you looking for people to start a new group with?

It’s time for this month's Roleplay get together and this time we will be visited by Johan Eriksson, the creator of the system Oceania 2084 - The Orwellian TTRPG!

The system is inspired by George Orwells book “1984” and can be described as an asymmetric, adversarial storytelling game without a gamemaster. This means that instead of a gamemaster one of the players will be taking on the role of “Big Brother'' whilst the rest of the players play the characters trying to survive.
With inspiration taken from rogue-likes, Red Carnations on a black grave, Lasers & Feelings, Vampire the Masquerade, PbtA, A Thousand Year Old Vampire, and Paranoia both Sebastian and I are looking forward to playing with you and we hope you do too!

Johan will be starting off at 18:00 with an introduction to the system after which we will be doing character creation and campaign setup. We will be running the groups in either Swedish or English, depending on the preference of the group. The introduction is expected to take about 2 hours, after which the groups can continue playing until the store closes at 22:00.

There will be two chances to try out Oceania 2084. The first one is on the 8th of May and the second on the 15th, so choose the one that works best for you (or both, if you wish)!

The game is currently on Kickstarter where they are trying to get a physical book printed which will be running until the 10th of May. They also have a digital version on their website, for free, if you want to have a look along with the link to their Kickstarter:
